This is a great walk if you like beautiful old buildings and want to learn a little about the city's past. However, if you are expecting to learn more about Kit Carson then this walk is not for you.
The Blue Line Trail showcases the old, historic Carson City and has some fine architecture for those who love the 1860's homes - many occupied by former governors and those who founded Carson City. Easy to follow by foot or by car.
We loved Carson City and the Kit Carson (blue line) walking trail was a wonderful way to see some beautiful vintage homes and other sights. We loved the concept and it made our visit to this city even more enjoyable

Certainly time well spent walking the Kit Carson Trail in beautiful Carson City. You get a real feel for the time era of the old west as you visit the various buildings along this historic trail through the state capitol.
The trail is easy to follow because there is a painted blue line on the sidewalk that guides you through the neighborhood. You can get a map at the visitors center that shows the path has details about the historical building along the path. Also...更多
