spent an hour strolling around this place and was worth every penny, all the animals have a story and the staff are only happy to tell you about them
This is a smaller sanctuary than others but they have a nice good variety of animals. Being smaller and less crowded, it felt a little more personal too. Most of the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly.
This is a wonderful rescue organization housing mountain lions, black bears, bison, wolves, coyotes, owls, falcons, sandhill cranes, foxes and others. All animals are unable to live in the wild due to injuries or domestication. There could be more emphasis on education. The two staff...更多

Some walking involved, but a great representation of wild animals from the area (including birds) that cannot be released back into the wild. Several areas under construction. Only negative, they have no room to expand.
We visited after driving the Beartooth Highway from Yellowstone. It was nice to find a sanctuary for those wild animals who cannot be returned to their habitats. The staff are to be commended for their good work.
