If you like history and National Parks,you need to put out the effort to find this place.Well preserved and presented one of the better homes I have visited that is being cared for by the park service.
This was the home of Grant's future wife's family. I stopped here and took the tour with a docent. She was very well informed and recounted many stories as we walked around the premises. We were inside the home as well as around the grounds....更多
This is an awesome place to learn about history, President Grant, Freedom and the civil war. They have a really good movie that explain President Grant life and how he helped to give freedom to the slaves. Nice place to visit.
We went to the Farm and enjoyed Clydesdales too. On our way out we hit the Grant home and so glad we did. Within a matter of 30 minutes we walked the grounds, spoke to rangers, explored barn and visitor center. We didn't do the...更多
