Didn't go up to it, since it was raining, but did pull over and take a picture of it. Looks pretty real and great detail. There is light house above it on the hill, but it was a little far and steep to climb for me. But is neat you can see it from the statues.
If you hike up Cardiff Hill, you'll see this statue whether you intend to or not! It's at the base of the hill and overlooks the Mississippi River. This is - of course - a necessary stop for folks on a Mark Twain pilgrimage.
You can stand next to the statute and have your picture taken. I loved to read Mark Twain's books when I was young so it feels great to be here in person and walk the streets and see the Mississippi River.
