Built after Hurricane Katrina, this museum is a wonderful exhibit of the history of the coast. I love the history of the seafood industry that once thrived there.
My grandchildren, ages 16 & 7, and myself really enjoyed this museum. It gives you an understanding of how things are done. After visiting the museum, we took the Biloxi Shrimping Tour and rode on the Biloxi Schooner. We just loved all three attractions.
The collection of seafood industry equipment and wooden boats is worth the visit. Good film about the seafood industry. Beautiful building with great views.

Love everything about this museum. At night don't miss the ship in the bottle view of the Nydia illuminated behind the giant window. There were two short videos one the story of Biloxi the other of the areas maritime industry. Depending on how much you want to read, as it is self guided, takes about 2+ hours. There is quite a bit about shrimping we did not know...更多
My wife, her brother and myself Visited this Museum. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about the shimping industry that I was not aware of. The Hosts were very gracious and accommadating and the exhibets dated back to before I was born...更多
