Went on a family outing here. None of us are especially musical, but it was interesting and worth a quick visit. Some instruments you can play and others you can't. It was a fun short visit.
What a wonderful exhibit with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Very nice collection of instruments located in an historic building. Well worth time to visit.

If you have time visit this free museum in the landmark building Although part of it was closed the day we were there it was interesting There are letters from very famous musicians to view as well as many musical instruments
Another wonderful attraction in the Landmark Center, the Schubert Club is an important MN Cultural Institution in sponsoring world class recitals, collecting documents of composers, and housing a marvelous collection of instruments. This a very small museum with some gorgeous antique pianos and harpsichords. It was nice that they had some you could actually play and hear their sound. My wife really enjoyed the letter catalog. And as a former band member the instrument tornado was fun...更多
