This is my favorite venue in Minneapolis for a concert. The sound is always great and there's not a bad seat in the place. It's also connected to the skyway. So on a cold, winter day you don't have to venture outside.

State Theatre was rehabbed quite a few years ago but still looks wonderful. In my opinion, this is the grandest of all the theaters in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Acoustics are wonderful and staff super friendly. If you're just visiting, you should check this out if time....更多
We saw Patti Labelle at this theatre. The was beautiful. The theatre seems to have nice visual from every seat, but I could not see the stage when the audience would stand up (which they did quite often for Ms. Labelle). There are some nice...更多
We went to the Warren Miller film at the State Theatre and had a great time. Getting through security was quick and painless. Fun event for the whole family.
Went to see Prairie Home Companion performance. An old, but classy venue, seats are tighter than coach on an airline, but good views from most all of them. Forget about the bathrooms at intermission but that is common in older theaters. Plenty of bars and...更多
I've been to many concerts at this theater, and it's holding up well. I would recommend some remodeling with more efficient restrooms and wider seats, but other than that, the decor is stunning and sound excellent. We saw Harry Connick Jr. there -- ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!
