Run by national park. Free tours will take you out onto locks. Tour takes ~ 30 minutes. This summer tour times were 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM (I'm guessing this changes depending on season),

The National Park Service is now managing the lock and dam since it is closed for navigation. They offer three tours a day everyday and the tours are led by a ranger and go out on to the lock. Lot's of history and cool information...更多
This is a good place to see a lock & dam system. It's very interesting to watch the water level changed for boats to pass thru the lock & dam, especially a big boat.
I've been through the lock several times on chartered boat rides. That is pretty cool. If you walk there, it is accessible while you are doing all of the other riverfront parks and activities. They weren't giving tours when I was there. I think they...更多
We checked the area out and were glad we did. The river views and dam views are nice and the backdrop of the city in the other direction is nice. It was chilly but worth the walk, you would see it all in 30 mins...更多
