Great presentation of '39 Steps'. Cast was talented; nice pace to the action. Had the opportunity to mingle with the cast during a 'Happy Hour' after the show. Will do it again someday!
We spent a lovely weekend in Lanesboro that included an evening at the Commonweal Theater. Charley's Aunt is one of the great shows on the program through October. Lanesboro is an annual biking outing for us that wouldn't be complete without an evening at the theater. Exercise and fresh air on the trail followed by dinner and lively acting in a very intimate theater setting. The actors are enthusiastic and obviously dedicated to their profession. You are so close to the stage and action no matter where you... 更多
My wife and I and friends enjoy taking in a show at the Commonweal Theatre when we stay in Lanesboro. We saw Woody Guthrie American Song in May 2015. I enjoyed this musical.
This play is both engaging and entertaining. It is so good that I will be seeing it for the 4th time this Saturday and taking guests with me again. Though there is nothing objectionable about it, it probably won't interest children. I am looking forward to taking my grandchildren to see Charlie's Aunt this summer.
Have been avid fans for all 27 years. It is remarkable how this theatre has been able to achieve such a high level of excellence and to sustain it for so long. The dedication and talent combine to give memorable theater.
Ibsen's Master Builder is thought provoking and somewhat dark. We always enjoy the cast and play selection at the Commonweal. We have been season ticket holders for many years.
