Wednesday night was showtime video night The place was heaving and everyone was singing to the videos Was great fun , we stayed for two hours As it was a friendly atmosphere Great outside area at the front and back if you didn't want to participate Drinks were harder to get as the queues were long
Went to see Miss Richfield 1981 latest show. She is never a disappointment and the Crown is a great location for her show. She is the BEST!
The owner,Rick, made our accommodations perfect for my wife & I.Anthoney not only worked the desk but became our bellman & concierge! We went to the Crown and Anchor because we were booked into a show there. The celebrity chef, Michele, was highly recommended and the food was good. I had lobster and my friend had Mac cheese with lobster which was a huge serve. Staff were friendly and considerate.
We have been coming to Provincetown for about 16 years. In that time we have visited the Crown and Anchor several times. It's always been good. We sat on the deck of this great people watching establishment. The server was so pleasant,offering great suggestions. Their clam chowder was the best that we had since arriving in P-Town, and their fish and chips were very good, thickly battered, just the way I like them. Provincetown was a new experience, I did not have a clue this was the most gay place in America. If you are here you have to visit the drag show! They are small, provocative for us Europeans (we are not used to racism and sexual harassment. It's still funny and a recommendation.
