There is a lot that goes on at the wharf. There are many opportunities for whale watching, fishing trips, tickets for the sight seeing trolley as well as little shops along the way.
At MacMillan Wharf you'll find all kinds of things, like launching points for ferries to Boston and Plymouth and elsewhere, boat tours, and trolley tours, too. We spotted some small artist shacks, too, where you can see art that has been or is being made.
This is a good place to stroll and look at the working fishing boats. Go in late afternoon to get the best lighting for photos. There are restrooms and a pirate museum at the end of the pier.
