The Sparrow House, as others have mentioned, is a quick look since it is just 1 room. To think that the leaded glass windows have lasted since the 1600's is remarkable though. There is a back room/gallery, as well, that they use for special exhibits...更多
There aren't too many structures in the USA that are 377 years old, let alone go in & look around. It's all original including the floors. Not much in it because they had very few possessions, but so worth it.

Dropped in to have a look at the gift shop and ended up chatting to the proprietors for quite a while. Lots of nice nic-nacs and a mini museum of Plymouth's oldest house next door.

I was surprised that all of the buildings from 1620's were no longer standing. I believe this home was built in 1640 and was told it is the oldest building left standing. You can only look at the bottom floor which is just an entry...更多
