While touring the area we came upon Old Silver Beach . What a surprise it was to find this type of beach near Falmouth. Most of the beaches were what we would call typical New England beaches. Old Silver Beach looked like someone had scooped up a Caribbean beach and dropped it in Cape Cod. Loved it.
I grew up a block and a half form the beach in Ventnor New Jersey so my entire childhood was spent on the beach that being said going to the beach does nothing for me yet the experience at old silver beach was a pleasant surprise. It was relaxing and very enjoyable. Sunsets are spectacular to view as well
Such a pretty beach - one side for residents and the other for locals. Very soft, pure white sand and clear warm blue water. Crescent shaped shore line lends for some great photographic opportunities. A must see while in the area.
Old Silver Beach is one of Cape Cod's many famous beaches. It's comparatively warm (as Cape Cod beaches go) and the sand is soft and "sugary" (as opposed to First Encounter Beach, for example, which is also lovely but has much coarser sand). This is one of the family favorites. The sand bars make it for great swimming. If you have a family and small kids with lots of "stuff" to drag along. You I promise will love this beach.

I wanted to go through all of Cape Cod but because of time I was only able to visit Old Silver beach which I am so glad I did!! Beautiful beach, water was chilly but not too chilly and the sand was very clean! I wasnt happy to see they charge $20 for parking but I get why. Love that... 更多
