Good access, on main road, route 1. Buck monument. Historical place, not much to do but worth seeing.
The legend is interesting and it's fun to see the gravestone. Whether it's true or not, it's still a great folk tale and the gravestone is pretty creepy.

Seriously? This really is so boring. And, if the witch foot keeps coming back, I offer THIS suggestion as a major tourist draw. Film someone sanding off the current "foot" on the stone and then keep a web-cam pointed at the stone and watch the...更多
Ah the legend of Col. Jon Buck! If you've got kids, this is an especially nice stop. Clearly see the witch's leg (or Jon's Boot) on the side of the monument. There is a plaque beside explaining the legends details. You can park in the...更多
If you've gone by but never stopped to read about the legend it is a must do. It is a 10 min stop. Park in the small lot to the left of the cemetery.
