When touring St. Francisville you must stop in and take a tour of the Oakley Plantation. It is not too far from downtown St. Francisville and well worth your time. You can learn a little about Audubon's time in St. Francisville.

If you are expecting a "Gone With the Wind" type of plantation, then this is not it. If you want a historically accurate plantation then this is a must see! I do advise anyone who goes and sees it in the winter months to dress...更多

This is a different type of plantation. The home has been restored to what it was years ago....no fancy remakes or updated furniture. Very interesting stories of this location.
