Waveland is a beautiful southern plantation. The grounds are awesome and well maintaned. It is a great place for a picnic with a nice play area. It is at its best when it hosts its arts fair.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Waveland enjoying their special evening tea. We had such a good time and it was the best Valentine's day ever! Costumed workers served us tea and treats on fine china at special tables for two. It was delicious and filling. After the tea, we got to take a tour of the house... 更多

Took the tour and was entertained the entire time. Our tour guide was not only period appropriate, but extremely knowledgable and made the whole experience fun. The home and artifacts were very well kept up. Great experience and an enjoyable way to learn the plantation and the South's history. We enjoyed the experience so much, when family came to visit... 更多

Nicely preserved home and artifacts that are a great U.S. history lesson for adults and kids and the family story is an interesting tale. While the slave quarters were sobering, it is part of our history and worth seeing. Enjoyed the history lesson about early Americans and a early KY family.

We took the tour through the house and it was lovely. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There is also a cute shop, from where you purchase tickets for the tour.

We visited this amazing place in September of 2016 Fantastic tour with a depth of information that you rarely find. Interesting connection to the Daniel Boone family. I would highly recommend this!

Always a beautiful grounds to enjoy, small cabin etc. During Christmas you can tour the beautifully decorated Southern style mansion.

If you are a tourist then this should be a top priority, this is an under appreciated park that doesn't get as much attention as deserved.. Beautiful views and the house is just gorgeous and authentic to visit.. Highly recommend it!

I love this place. Guides were friendly and answered questions cheerfully. The house was once part of a plantation and several outbuilding survive including the slave quarters. Apparently the slaves here were fairly well treated. However the guides glossed over the fact that being a slave was pretty awful even if you were relatively well treated. Worth seeing if you're... 更多
