If you love architecture then this is the building to visit. I've never been inside it but plan to in the future. The outside is stunning and if you have a bright blue sky you will get some wonderful photos.

Gorgeous cathedral. Tours by older volunteers- so be prepared to move slowly. Ball room under construction so it was disappointing to not see it. Only one door open- froze while trying got locate it! We walked form Library, but there is parking at the cathedral.
This is a beautiful piece of architecture in downtown Indianapolis - within walk of the grassy mall, the war memorial and library. A tour of the outside is great when it is closed, but take the weekday tour, if you can, and learn about free masonry. Amazing.
The Scottish Rite Cathedral is a beautiful facility and can be rented out of special events that can hold up to several hundred people.
