Stopped by on way to Peoria. A lot of material and displays. Volunteers are very knowledgeable and excited to to tell you about displays. We spent about 2 hours at museum. We were traveling in RV and were able to park behind museum with no issues. Not a busy place so you will not feel rushed through.
This is not a huge museum but it covers so much of history and the displays are very well done. They have made great effort to bring you the best. You can spend and easy hour but if your into war history plan on two or more. The staff is friendly and helpful and I would encourage this stop for... 更多
What a great museum. Well put together and so much information about every war our country has been involved in. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth the stop!

Come take a walk back into history. See the place were Lincon slept and adressed the town. The medical office of prominent citizens of the day. See examples of the industry that made the area well known. It is all here and much more.

We were amazed at the extent of all the collections, even a display for trench art and a special room just for D-Day with audio recordings. Planned on one hour and spent two, wish we had more time. Think... 更多
