Technically this beach runs from the curve at 1st Street south to 14th Street. This beach did not seem to be crowded and I am told this is the beach of choice for the locals.

We go to Savannah 2 times a year, this time we brought our bikes and decided to ride them at Tybee island, what a great relaxing ride on the island, we then stepped out onto the quiet beach, nice day, sunny and relaxing.

This was my first visit to an Atlantic beach and I have to say I was very disappointed. The eastern Gulf of Mexico beaches in Florida and Alabama are 10 times prettier. This beach was clean, but don't expect white sand and crystal blue water.
