This is one of the highlights of our trip here. Lots of information and many things to see. The staff and volunteers will answer all your questions and then some. We definitely recommend it to others! Be sure to call and get the schedule before you go. We went at 9:45 and were able to see the turtle being fed... 更多
Nice informative displays, rehab hospital was interesting, worth the time to tour. Self guided with volunteers on hand to explain the displays.
Went with 3 year old son. He enjoyed the interactive element of getting "stamps" at different stations and the chance to see recovering turtles in hospital. Didn't spend a lot of time otherwise exploring...probable only there 25 minutes. Gift shop Staff member was friendly.
This place is for the entire family..... Watching them feed the turtles would probably be a hit for the younger crew. I totally enjoyed watching the staff repair the shell of an injured turtle. It was pretty neat seeing so many different species all in one place
The display area's are good for kids, with interactive displays and an opportunity to watch the veterinarians at work if they have a patient. The animals there are recovering from traumatic illness or injury (they are not zoo animals). I have noticed that if you show up at feeding time, they really perk up. An amazing cause and a staff... 更多
Nice, informative place to visit with kids. Kids of all ages will enjoy seeing various turtles and Terrapins. Staff goes out of the way to keep you informed and answer questions. Inside is a little dated but you get the drift. Can do the entire tour, including sea turtle hospital in about an hour. Recommend!
Very knowledgeable staff providing information on their rehabilitation of injured sea turtles. You observe the sea turtles in various stages of recovery. There is also an interactive area that children would enjoy. Make a point of being at the Center during the staff talks or you will miss most of the appeal. Only $7.00 for adults.
