I love going to see live performances and this place is so cool! It's a GEM in downtown Cumming and you have to visit Tams to before the show for drink or meal. It's great too. You can purchase tickets on the website in advance and support local arts. We have some great talent and you don't have drive too... 更多
We have visited here so many times, beautiful old school house converted to a cozy little theatre for live performances. Most recently we went to a musical, there are literally no bad seats in the house. Small but intimate, great sound, etc. We always enjoy and advise everyone to take advantage of this little gem in the heart of Cumming.
Been to several shows and have loved most every one. Not a bad seat in the house, unless you are short and someone tall sits in front of you. Sound quality is good and just the ambience of the history is nice. Take time to wander the halls a bit and take in some history of the County.
A small and quite nice (about 160 seats) theater for concerts, plays, and other musical events. Theater is both owned and operated by the City of Cumming.
Went for the Senior Winter Follies. Would love to see a play. Costumes were great. Very talented group for the follies---singing, comedy, dancing. The Playhouse itself is a great piece of history (old schoolhouse) with restored rooms you can view before the performance starts. Downstairs is the Tams restaurant for a dinner after the show. I love this little theater. The plays are diverse, the talent is amazing for a local, little theater, and the theater itself is wonderful. Although most shows are not sold out, I did go once and could not get a ticket, so I would make reservations in advance so that doesn't happen to you.
The Playhouse was a school auditorium and has been transformed into a beautiful Playhouse. The events that they have are very good. It is a place to have a nice evening out.
We have seen 2 plays in this small theatre and both times it was a wonderful experience. The building has lots of history on display and the seating was very comfortable. There is an adorable little restaurant in the basement if you want before or after drinks and munchies.
