I only had a few hours to visit and wished I could have stayed longer. I hiked the Woodpecker Trail and then the trail along the Suwanee River to see the rapids. It was quiet and lovely. I saw birds, butterflies, deer and armadillo during my time there. I think I want to go back for more hiking and a... 更多
If you are near White Springs FL make sure you stop by this park. Hike on the well marked trails to see Florida's class 3 Rapids. Clean park, very safe feeling even though no park staff near by.

This is an easy, short hike for someone with good footing because there are roots in the path along the way. The hike leads to a set of rapids on the Suwannee River. Very nice to see. The park offers picnic tables and restrooms. Total time, including a picnic lunch was about 2 hours.
Hiked 2.5 miles round trip to see the rapids. Water level was just right for it. Nice hike. Not sure what else there is to do as we got there late afternoon and that was all we had time for.
