This is an amazing place. It's beautiful and has a nice boardwalk trail with views of the park. Lots of people seem to go Kayaking over there. We stopped by when they were having a painting exhibit event in the main building - very cool. I highly recommend stopping by.
Kudos to the locality for preserving the wetlands and making them accessible to the public. We spent about 90 minutes strolling on the excellent boardwalk and enjoying the quiet. Although we didn't see any alligators, we saw many birds, a couple of feral pigs, and other reptiles (!).

Don't miss this opportunity to experience nature up close and personal! There is a boardwalk with benches and rocking chairs for sitting and absorbing the environment. There are several trails to choose from, from 1 mile to 16 miles. The boardwalk is well maintained and makes it a very accessible walk for anyone who is handicapped! It is a great... 更多
This Preserve supplies much of the water for Southern Florida and so is fascinating to walk through. it's quiet, tranquil and pretty. The visit takes 45-60 minutes and is worth it if you're in the area.
I love to come to the preserve to see what kind of wildlife we can spot and to get a good walk in. My son loves to go as well and we can make a great trip out of it.
