We visited the village in June and have been there many times before that. I grew up in Sarasota and love Siesta Key Village...it is a nice area to walk around, shop and get a meal or a snack at one of the many restaurants.

its fun for families and friends to eat and bar hop or just walk and see beach people. the locals here are super cool, its like stepping back in time kind of. Skob is really cool and the are tenders are good.
There are lots of fun bars/restaurants with some cute shops. Some tourist beachy shops. The best thing in the free transportation that will move you around the village without the hassle of looking for parking. They got it right!
A fun strip of beach bars, but a mixed crowd. Is fun for day drinking and bouncing around but at night time it is a little cheap and too 'fratty'.
this was a welcome change from st. armand's circle where everything was crowded and over-priced; nice littke village with cute shops and great places to grab a bite to eat
