This is a small but very packed museum. There is something to see everywhere - uniforms, hats, pictures, equipment, books, posters, etc. The displays start with the early 1700s and move through every major conflict the U.S. has engaged in. There are a few artifacts outside. The museum itself is located on what used to be a Navy base. Right... 更多
My wife and I visited the Military Museum of North Florida today. Green Cove Springs is a relaxing and short drive from St. Augustine, Florida. Admission is free and their collection of memorabilia and military historical items is excellent. I was excited to find an 5" 38 US Navy single barrel gun mount in front of the museum. This was... 更多
We attended a field trip with our homeschool group to this museum and it was amazing! The guides were so friendly and informative. The museum was well-organized with each war/time period's items displayed professionally. They made us feel welcomed and we felt that they genuinely enjoyed showing us around and answering questions. More people should visit this museum, it is... 更多

From the highway we first saw the huge wheeled landing craft used during the Vietnam War to carry supplies from ship to shore, including tanks and man is it huge! Then there is the massive Navy deck gun sitting next to the emergency escape boat that every sailor and passenger hopes they will never have to use. Just inside the... 更多

The Military Museum of North Florida was so much beyond any expectations I could've had for such a small place. Around every corner, and tucked away in every available space, was every item imaginable dating back to the barbery wars through today's current conflicts. It... 更多
Loads of memorabilia and history in this museum. I must have driven past it 20 times before I actually went in. I'm so glad I did. It's worth the stop. There is a lot of information to take in. A must for any military enthusiast.
