Pulling up, the somewhat dilapidated building exterior (recently painted) is a bit to question yourself if this is something to fo through with, but... Once inside, there are so many exhibits, displays and artifacts from actual US Presidents and their Administrations, it's practically begging one to continue. The biggest eye-opener was the huge, 20 ton White House replica, with each... 更多
$15 entry fee which gives a year long pass. Friendly, knowledgable staff that give a brief history and then leave you to watch a 40 minute film about "turning around the White House" for the new president. Fascinating insight into what goes on behind the scenes getting one president out and another in during the few hours of inauguration. The... 更多
A walkable 300 yards from the Citrus Tower parking lot is this GEM of a museum for the history lovers and older children. If you have ever wondered about the history and interior of our Presidential Mansion you will ind it. Beautifully done scale models of the White House inside and out and detailed dioramas of the oval office through... 更多
My husband and I recently visited the Mini White House Museum. Seeing various exhibits was similar to visiting the museums in DC. We were kind of disappointed; first no where in their flyer states you are required to pay $15 to enter the exhibit; second the place is too small and thirdly, you barely have room to move through the Gift Shop.
If you are interested in the history of our presidents, this is a cool place to take kids. This is a little crowded and junkie but interesting to take the kids to. We enjoyed our one trip but there is not much to encourage us to return multiple times.
We visited the Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont, FL (on Highway 27 near the Florida Citrus Tower). Outside is a replica of Mount Rushmore (great spot for family photos with the presidents). Right inside is a gift shop (free of charge). Adult admission is $ 15 to go into the museum (a 1 year pass will be given upon... 更多
We were really surprised at what you can learn at what has to be done for a smooth transfer of power after the election. Plus the the things you learn about the living conditions in the east and west wing of the White House. Even throw it is in miniature it is worthwhile.
This is a lovely little attraction on the US 27 north of clermont. It's a lovely little place where you can learn all the knowledge of the presents of the USA and the White House. It costs £15 to get in and some people would say that it's a lot when you see the place as it is only small... 更多
