A hidden gem. Here in Connecticut we have major fossils of early dinosaur footprints. Plenty of trails to explore besides the museum itself. The guides and rangers do an excellent job of explaining the site and helping visitors make castings from the footprints.
This a great place for small children and people who are interested in dinosaurs. If this isn't you then don't bother going. It's cool to see the fossils if you've never seen them before, but overall nothing special.

This is a great visit for adults and children. Great place to learn about dinosaurs. Admission is very reasonable. They have the inside museum but in the months when weather is warmer, they also have outside activities. If you visit this site, I would also...更多
We had a 7 year old up from Florida and brought her there. We had an entertaining afternoon while learning about very early Connecticut.
Not worth the time. Took my 3 and 5 year old over the summer. Figured we'd have a nice picnic, walk the trails and check out some dinosaur bones. There was nothing to do. There was a movie showing about the excavation of the park...更多
