This is THE place to study Connecticut history and genealogy. Their collections are unparalleled, much of it unique. The staff is friendly and helpful. Do walk upstairs to the law library and the wonderful small museum. Can't beat the price, which is free!
The support staff and the materials are outstanding. I was researching the 1870s and the newspaper on site materials were incredibly helpful. Off site materials can be ordered and delivered within a day or so. The rules for the use of archive materials are apprpriately...更多
The State of Connecticut has opened the renovated Library filling it with artifacts and historic memorablia. It's a pleasant diversion for a history buff but don't go out of you way to visit. It'll be there when you want to walk by
