This is the only remaining windmill in Barbados, which has now been preserved as a visitor attraction. It was used to crush the sugar cane and is still fully functional. We visited here on our way to Bathsheba bay

Fantastic historical landmark of a working windmill. Although it doesn't work all the time, it is located on a dairy farm that allows the public to come in and look.
The mill used to be open to go inside and walk through. You could really feel the energy and sprits of days gone by when sugar plantations were the main economic driver. Now it's all locked up, but you can walk around the outside.
