This is a good rock feature and a good hike. It is an easy hike for the most part. The trail can get really busy. Watch out for the rattle snakes and the bees in the summer.
Took the family there. What a nice walkway to hike. Easy enough for young children to explore and the view was breathtaking. Suitable for mountain biking, horse trail and just hike. Lots to do and lots of open space. You can decide how far you want to go. Highly recommended for a visit.
Nice, easier hike for family. The path is fairly narrow in many areas so it can get crowded. We're careful not to go at times because of snakes. Free to park.
My favorite hike in Loveland. The trail has gotten a lot busier over the last several years, but if you go really early in the morning you'll have it to yourself. Beautiful views, great birding, lots of wildflowers during the summer. Be advised that there's little to no shade, so bring water if you go in the heat of the... 更多
This is a great place to take beginning to moderate hikers. The trails are easy elevation and there is so much to see all along the trail. The parking is good and there are public bathrooms. I love to see the little kids on the trail. Hikers range in age from 2 through 80! Must see in Loveland!
My husband and I are new to Colorado and new to hiking... we LOVE the Devil's Backbone trail. It's well traveled and there are rangers on trail usually. We love that everyone brings their dogs with them to hike. The trail is just challenging enough for us novices to keep it interesting. Be sure to go up to the overlook... 更多
Not too good to go from the South end heading North. I've come this direction from the North but not made it the whole way to the parking area before heading back. From this end it is too steep with hairpin turns and too many rocks for the average horse and rider. A bit tough on the hooves!
We have often hiked this trail. It is too hot in the summer but nice as an off season hike. The best part is that one can make this a long day or just a short hike. Since the trail was extended beyond toward Fort Collins there are lots of options.
