Debbie greeted us the door and explained the museum. She was very informative and we chatted a few times during our visit informing us of interesting things. We visited all of the floors of the first building, hit the miners cabins, Assay shop and the last building and gift shop. It was a nice self paced informative tour. Even my... 更多
Wonderful architecture, great history of the building, fantastic exhibits, what more can you ask for! This was truly a walk through time, from the early 1800's through the early 1900's. An eclectic mixture of items, from vintage phonographs to weapons to clothing, you name it! There are five buildings that comprise the museum: the Railroad Depot (main building), two miners... 更多
If you have limited time, make this your first priority. The museum houses a fabulous collection of history from the Last Great Gold Boom in the late 1800's and early 1900's. All ages will enjoy this walk through history.

We visited this little museum after taking the train tour of the mines. If your in the area for that this is well worth the quick 15 or 20 minutes afterward. Lots of older mining relics and history. Its amazing how much this town was worth back in the day and the people that visited and lived there.
