We stumbled upon this afte deciding to go for a walk down to the river, and was surprised, what a beautiful old church, also there was a retreat next door to it that we were allowed to walk round, very peaceful, pleanty parking

Great to come and see. All free (even parking ... unusual, I know). A lot of good birdwatching. And fairly clean beaches.
We went on a very hot day in September and the silence was deafening. Rather isolated and nice walk from carpark to simple chapel by the seaside. Absolutely no facilities. Of course the Romans were here first as chapel built from stolen stone by later...更多
It doesn't change here. Been coming for years. Yes the church is historic, but come at high tide and do the circular walk (about 6 miles) around the sea wall via power station. Lovely sandy beaches for swimming, almost deserted. Only downside is no toilets...更多
