We took two 90+ Senior Citizens for an outing. The host were wonderful to help us in managing the boarding & un-boarding. The street car ride at VanBuran was informative, interesting & fun. Great fall foliage trip. Take the camera, kickback and have a great day. This was a friends & Family fullfilled event.
We've done the scenic trip to Van Buren and the Christmas trip to Rogers. Train staff are great and very informative. Don't blame the railroad or staff if fall trip is not that colorful - in NWA (as everywhere) the weather will be whatever it is and the color will be whatever. Every child (and adult) should get to "ride... 更多
Wife and I took the Springdale to van Buren trip. It was enjoyable and plenty of sites to see. I thought the lay over in van Buren was too long. 1 hr wooould have been fine.

Try to ride one way in the dome car and the other way in one of the lower cars just for the variety in levels of views. The train is clean and comfortable....and fun. Be sure to go to the back deck when it's allowed for a totally unobstructed view. Train staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Van Buren is... 更多
My sister and I purchased tickets for a "girl's day" outing. We left from Springdale and rode to Van Buren. The ride was long, Historic Van Buren was more like a ghost town with nothing to see or do and the long ride back was a painful end to a long day. I can't recommend this train ride to anyone... 更多
Do not bother with reserving "First Class", you will not receive first class service. We had first class tickets, our car was the last to board and the last to unload. The actual train ride time is only about 3 1/2 to 4 hrs and that is for the entire trip, the majority of the "senic" area is of old... 更多
