Please call for reservations during the warmer months

"What you will see here is a remnant town which stood larger than Yuma in 1878. Her weather beaten buildings remain great day trip in the lower Colorado river in an area little changed from the 1800's. The mills stand silent, housing original boiler, stamp mill, and elevator, as if tomorrow they will awaken to the thunderous roar of steel crushing rock. The boardwalks still creak, the church bell rings out, the five saloons just await the story of their last shootout. Over 50 building in 3 areas are now open, with more history being added. April 15 through September you will need to call for hours. October 1st through April 30th we are open 7 days a week.

This is a fun little ghost town. We enjoyed it and there were definitely some interesting sights and facts.

This full day trip, off the beaten path, takes you into the lost world of a "Boom and Bust" mining town called Castle Dome City in 1878. It's last inhabitants left in the 70's! Over 45 restored buildings are filled with artifacts discarded, abandoned, and now lovingly donated by families. Volunteers have created an amazing replica of this mining community... 更多

A group of us who usually hike decided to go here instead, we spent better part of day, very interesting place and interesting history, easy walking. We all enjoyed it and will probably go back again in the future. I do recommend if you are interested in the local history etc.

A great place to explore ab "old west" mining town without the crowds. A made up place -- buildings and equipment gathered from several camps -- but very nicely put togetherness! Away from everything--be sure to bring your own snacks and DRINKS!

There is over 45 restored buildings full of artifacts and a lot of historical stories to read about, wear your walking shoes and plan on at least a couple of hours if not more to see everything. There are picnic tables so pack a lunch and enjoy the views as well as the museum/ghost town. Open October to April. $10.... 更多

I went there with my adult son while out exploring and found this place. We were a bit reluctant to go in at first but once we did, we were both in awe of the history there. Very interesting place! You have to check out the 70's exhibit and see the 1200+ Zippo lighter collection!

Visiting friends who live in Yuma, Buildings were transplanted to a small area to make viewing the area more tourist friendly. The area shows the basic, tough, rough life these people led through the 1970's. The town is from the 1880's. It is very basic but the extensive details on the process of obtaining the silver is interesting. At the... 更多

Tons of memorabilia displayed in mostly original buildings from different mines in the immediate area. This area has been mined for centuries- first by the Spanish with Indian slaves. Town is full of interesting history, equipment and artifacts.
