We stopped by here and our visit lasted about 2 minutes. The only thing really to see here is the old car and trucks parked outside. There were a few men sitting outside, I guess they were the owners, and really didn't seem to care that people were visiting their "museum". Don't go out of your way to stop here.
Loved this restored gas station! My husband and I are collectors so anything vintage or car/train related, we're in. Had a nice visit with owner. Car out front was originally his dads and he's the 2nd owner and restored it. Wonderful collection
There is no better way to end a memorable meal than with a slow stroll down a charming and magical street. The Route 66 district in Williams is a trip through history. Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum is a glimpse back to a time of slower travel, bigger cars, and neon, lots of neon. This is a wonderful nighttime... 更多
It is EXTREMELY tiny. There are some interesting old relics, but there were signs saying DON'T TOUCH everywhere you look. It was ridiculous. The signs were annoying...I get having a sign or two, but there doesn't need to that many in such a small area.
In downtown Williams, thanks to its passionate owner is this little museum. It's an old gas station which was once in use, now converted to a small museum with many memorabilia from those times, like oil cans, signs, ads,... It's free and worth your 30 min time.
if you're already in downtown Williams, you may as well see this gas station. it's wonderful how the town have preserved the attractions to give you a look back in time!
We stopped here just before closing time and ended up talking to the owner for at least an hour. Enjoyed the memorabilia and talking 60's cars. Ended up buying a couple of things that I certainly didn't need but glad to have.
Great little museum inside garage. Beautiful flowers on property and charming autos. Makes you feel like you are going back into time.
