The presidio in Tubac is a real eye opener. So much Arizona history in this first European settlement in the state. The site is beautifully preserved, the small garden a labor of love, the schoolhouse educational, and the museum crammed with artifacts. And when you're...更多

A visit to the Tubac Presidio takes you back to the 1680's when Father Kino began his trek into the America's. Arizona's first state park is a must on your bucket list. The grounds are beautiful, the museum grand and you can bring your dog.更多

Took some out of town visitors to see Tubac. We hadn't been in many years and I forgot just how interesting this place is. We all love learning about the history so everyone found it interesting.
Great restoration. We especially enjoyed getting to see the underground foundations and excavations. This is a good place to visit if you are interested in archeology. They have a number of interesting pieces in the on site museum as well.
Thank you Shanna. The site was excavated in the 1970s and has been making more history ever since.

Learn how America was settled from the south before the English came. The museum is small but professionally done. The area is very rich in history. It is at the north end of the Anza trail from Tumacacori. Make it part of your shopping trip...更多

Nice little town with several stores with nice handcrafted Mexican artifacts. Were comfy shoes take water and enjoy. I don't recommend taking young kids, it's more of a location for couples to browse and shop. Definitely nice stop to visit. Ask me any question!
