Great place to make a pit stop on the way to Four Corners. Clean restrooms, gas, snacks and souvenirs.Very little in Teec Nos Pos area. There is a small post office if one needs to mail postcards, etc

The Teec Nos Pos Trading Post was at one time owned by Russell Foutz, one of the premier Indian traders of his generation. His enterprises have since been divided, but the quality remains, especially in the rugs. This is the place people go to use the bathroom or to hit up the ATM because Four Corners Monument takes only cash. It is six miles back from Four Corners, one way, and easy to find. We stopped here on our way to 4 cornersno was expecting it to have more things like a gift shop but it really is a locals spot where they buy small grocery items and herbal medicine. The did have an area to purchase small rugs and pillows and cute native earrings.
At this time, this is what a trading post is. You got your native arts for sale, you got your travel snacks. After the tremendous disappointment another trading post in Gallup turned out to be, this was more like it. A very attentive staff, and there was a bit of everything on offer here.
