A small niche museum that is worth a stop if you are close by...the section that gives a Brief history of the Arizona rangers was really nice. The museum staff were quite helpful and informative. Be aware it's unassuming and kind of easy to miss.
Not a big time attraction but definitely of interest. It features equipment, uniforms and insight into the Phoenix Police Dep't over the years from way back in time in 'The Old West' to current times. It is located in what was at one time the Phoenix Police department building. You stand in the original main lobby where a desk sergeant... 更多
The museum is right downtown across from the County complex. It is housed in an old police station that in itself has some great history. There are exhibits of 1800s "jail rock" to taming the frontier and modern day. They have a car, motorcycle, helicopter, radios, guns, uniforms, jail cells and lots of other neat things. They sell shirts, coins... 更多
The Police Museum in Phoenix is so good. It is a small place in the previous police station. It is hidden from view on the street so you have to look for it. However, I did not have a problem finding it. There is a sign as you approach the bldg. that identifies it. I found the retired police personnel... 更多

They had displays of photos and artifacts from early days before Phoenix became an organized police force right up to modern day. The display of progression in breathalyzers that had been in use in the Phoenix department is very interesting.... 更多

It has a rich history, including The birthplace of our Maranda right. After Maranda was arrested, he was taken here for booking. The officers that volunteer at this museum are all retired. One of... 更多
Although it is a small museum it is packed full of fun stuff to see and has lots of history the people are friendly and I enjoyed it. Its Free and you just walk in.
We enjoy museums wherever we travel. We visited the Wells Fargo museum and this was within a few blocks. Nice history of the first police station in Phoenix, located right there. Welcomed by retired police officer who now gives a history of and answers questions. This is where the Miranda rights law came about. Photo ops on the old police... 更多
