This place is certainly the best place to visit if you love snorkeling and coral life. There is a large variety of fish on display and the coral is beautiful. Just make sure you go behind the stick marking where the drop is. It would be good if you get your own snorkeling equipment because hire stock is limited. The... 更多
We walked 10 minutes from our cruise ship to this marine preserve. It has a well maintained beach area with shaded picnic tables and restrooms. One had to snorkel about 100 yards away from shore over 3 foot deep coral to get to a 80 foot deep hole. On the edge of the hole was great coral (different kinds at... 更多
It was very pretty...apart from the rubbish and bits of concrete rubble, I carried my snorkelling gear from NZ but didn't use it..couldn't see any sign of fish within 50 meters of the shore...there is a $5 tala entry fee, basic changing facilities and a snack caravan
I loved this place. I visited 3 times over my week stay in Apia and recommend visiting. I will definately return again when I visit Apia again. I loved the authenticity of the place, the snorkeling was perfect for me. The water was clear of rubbish and debris everyday I visited and of a warm temperature. The depth ranged from... 更多
On Saturday we stopped by and asked what time is good to snorkel for our family on Sunday. We were told midday. On Sunday we turned up at 11 am. A little before the time we were recommended. We asked about the current and were just shown the stick in the ocean that we were meant to swim to. The... 更多
We had a wonderful time at Palolo Deep while we were holidaying in Samoa this April. The place is very serene with shady areas and fales on the beach and some big swings hanging from the giant trees. The coral and fish are amazing and the fruit smoothies are to die for! It is also conveniently located only 10 min... 更多
Went here on a Sunday because everything else was closed. I believe entry was 10 or 15 Talla. Rented snorkel and mask for 11 Talla. The lady showed me a stick in the water and told me that was the place to go. I was a little concerned because it was quite far out, than she told me, there is... 更多
The family had their first ever scuba dive at Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. The marine life was beautiful and plentiful. We really enjoyed the experience, so close to the heart of Apia. Facilities rudimentary typical of Samoa.
We spent an hour here today. The welcome is nothing special but after paying 5 tala and walking out for five minutes into the shallow waters we found the drop off and lots of beautiful fish and coral. Right on the edge of town so easy walking distance.
