We happened upon this discovery center and were glad we looked into it a little more. It was really well put together and provided some good insight into the history of the area. This is definitely worth the admission price of $5.00...don't miss it!

We like museums, and this one gets a high rating from us. An excellent introduction to Alaskan history, culture and ecology. Both exhibits and videos were excellent. If we'd had more time from the cruise ship, we'd have stayed longer.
Yes, we visited Creek Street, the totem poles, and many of the shops in Ketchikan, but this was by far the most interesting stop. There is an admission fee, like you are entering a National Park, but we used our Senior Pass. We saw an...更多
