I agree with the review below in that I wasn't quite sure what to make of the sanctuary or why many of the animals were there.

The sanctuary does amazing work and Carol and her staff are the heart and soul. The sanctuary is an hour boat ride from Puerto Jimenez and is not far from the shore. The location itself is also stunning. Make sure to be on time!
