Highly recommended. The main attraction is a path in nature tunnels ("grottos") punched in the rock by water. Best access way is by funicular which is also impressive. Be prepared to get sometimes wet - there are huge waves hit the rock. When storming, they can close the tunnels partly (this case they usually also reduce the price for funicular)... 更多
We got here at 10AM and waited 30 minutes for a ticket that's really expensive. Then we waited 1 hour on a cable car line that was not moving. Finally we said screw this and we walked right down the hill through the parking lot and down to the coast and right into the caves. It is a tourist trap!... 更多
Busy, a very short ride to reach the "grottos" and not much to see ... The cliffs are impressive and the see is spectacular there. But this is faraway so unless you are in the area with nothing to do, it is not worth the detour. A fun part: you can see the Libanese border, both on the ground and... 更多
Enjoyed the tram ride to the grottos. The water sparkled in multi colors from each opening in the grottos. Don't miss the informative film - the seats reminded me of old car bench seats.
On visiting the northern areas of Israel, one must make the short trip to the Mediterranean Sea's grottos at Rosh Hanikra. By bus or car, the grottos are located about a 40 minute ride from Israel's port city of Haifa. One must take a short cable car ride down to see the grottos with the rushing water of the Mediterranean... 更多
We wanted to visit this location for a long time and we were not disappointed, it costs around $10 for the cable car down, which is a must. a very good audio visual display in both hebrew and english and a very good walk around the caves. A nice way to spend a couple of hours.
A must see if you are anywhere near the area. The cliffs are a stunning white, and the cable car ride down is smooth with a picturesque view over the azure sea. The water just sparkles. Once in the grottos, the light is just amazing, flooding in and adding to the stunning blue of the crystal-clear water. The waves crashing... 更多
This is a place worth visiting! Close to Haifa ( about 50 minutes by car ) the joint of the sea and rocks is fantástic. Nature at its Best! It will take about 60 minutes to walk through the caves and also watch the film about the history of this place. Super recomendable!!!
