We played both courses - difficult to say, which one is more beautiful - both have their specialities - and playing them is definitely a challenge - but enjoyable! Courses are well kept - service is great - the starters did not even want to accept a tip - but were very helpful and attentive! Golf shop attendants very efficient... 更多
We played the Ridge and the Valley on consecutive days. We much preferred the Ridge Course. The Ridge has numerous changes in elevation, with lots of downhill and uphill shots. The par-5 3rd hole is a special treat, calling for a tee shot short of a wide creek, then a layup second before a wedge to a large green in... 更多
This is a good challenge for golfers of all levels. It is a very undulating course - never had a flat lie anyplace. The course is well laid out and well maintained. Glad we played it
I have played this course the past three years during early November on what has been an annual sojourn of sorts. There are two courses here and I have played both, but my favorite by far is the Ridge course. The valley course was more popular here when I recently was there due to recent maintenance on the greens of... 更多
We played both the Ridge and the Valley courses during our Fall golf trip to Alabama. I am rating Oxmoor Valley based more on the Ridge course. It is more interesting and challenging than the Valley course. The nice part about the RTJ courses is that they have a lot of tee boxes to accommodate all levels of play. While... 更多
First time to play this course. Looks beautiful, but very difficult with many elevations to navigate without the perfect shots. As an 18 handicap player, I found it exhausting. Almost every hole played uphill, not much fun without variety. Once is enough.
Make sure you have a trail card. It's worth the price to save you money on playing here and other trail courses. Oxmoor Ridge is a challenging course. Many of the jokes have elevated greens and from many locations a blind shot so running up and looking with the cart is necessary. The course could benefit from adding GPS distance... 更多
This is typical High Quality RTJ course. My playing partners had never played a RTJ course, and as we approached the 1st tee, said, lets play the blue tees. I verified their handicaps, and recommended we stay with the orange, as it would be challanging enough. There were several holes they wished they could have played to blues, to "grip... 更多
