The most beautiful beach in Ilha Grande, in my opinion. Calm and relaxing. About 2h walking, but it is worth visiting. Medium-level trail. You can go there by foot or by taxi boat. There are no restaurants, but you can find locals selling meals.
The village of Dois Rios is almost like a ghost town, with very few residents and quite a few houses taken back by nature. It is very interesting in its own way and all the residents we chatted with were very helpful. Recommended.
Definetly a must see in the island. Don't let the walking distance change your mind. The village itself seems abandoned but the beach is wonderful, specialy on both ends of it. Hiring a mountain bike is a good choice to reach Dois Rios more quickly but get prepared for a 4km ramp up.

amazing beach, great for an overnight camp. easy 2 hour hike to get there, only a dozen people on the beach the day we were there and its over 1km long so loads of room. lovely sheltered bay. a must for a trip to ilha grande
this little village is worth the 17 km (!) walk from Abraaozinho. The road takes you over the mountain and through the rainforest, just beautiful! Take enough water with you... Dois Rios was deserted when the political prison was closed (only in 1994) and it is amazing to see what time and the forest does to the houses and surroundings... 更多
As you have already read, it is roughly 8.3 km one way from town to this beach. It took myself... 更多
