The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Dressed in historic clothing he explained the artifacts in the museum and described situation and events of the time. An enjoyable visit of the museum and civil war federal fort.

I was limited to exercising and thought I would check out Fort Ward Park. I had a wonderful experience, walking through the history that surrounded the park during the Civil War. I was also impressed by the display of Civil War artifacts in the Museum....更多
A smallish park built around remains of an old civil war fort. It also had a small but interesting free museum. Nice place for a stroll and to let kids run around.
