Old mansion which gives the visitor an unique sight into the ways of life in ohter centuries. I enjoyed the visit very much. A great passtime for families, friends, couples. If I'm not mistaken, the entry was free, but just to be sure, check it out first. Enjoy!
On the plaza de Armas this museum is well worth a quick look. Free to enter with a guide available, if you want, this place is is well preserved and has a little money bit thrown in for good measure. Good way to pass half an hour.
Entrance is free after presenting ID (copy of a passport is sufficient). There are guides who'll walk you through the house and explain to you what you see. There are some interesting things in there (Sion Bolivar's desk, contraptions they used for water purification, a small numismatic exhibition) but it's not the most interesting site in Trujillo.
Entrance to this magnificent colonial home is free but you will need to show your passport. We took a Spanish-language tour. I don't know if they are offered in English. Many of the rooms on the tour are furnished. There is a desk reported to have been used by Simon Bolivar. This house would be worth seeing even if admission...
