The museum is located in the old mansion owned by the Gogus family. The building itself is worth seeing. There are various cooking utensils, pots, etc. on display, plus a colorful display of local costumes.
As a food lover this is a good museum if you are interested. It doesn't offer too much for the ones who are not interested in these kind of museums. It has been amazing for me to see the local cuisine tradition here. As Gaziantep is maybe only maybe one of the so few cities with its own local city... 更多

I was very impressed with this culinary museum in foodies must visit city of Gaziantep. I spent quite a few hours here reading the fantastic info and watching the films they were playing. Highly recommended especially if you are a foodie.
This interesting museum provides both information and inspiration for exploring Gaziantep's terrific eateries. English-language translations are key ingredients in the museum's successful recipe of explaining what dishes to try in local restaurants.
We went along because the idea seemed so unusual and because Gazientep is renowned for its food. Set in a delightful old house, it gives a wonderful introduction to different aspects of Turkish domestic customs. Like the rest of Gaziantep, well worth a visit. There's a kitchen but on this visit nothing being cooked.
A small museum but well laid out, with explanations in Turkish and English. What was a private house, around a small courtyard, with every room now dedicated to a different aspect of local food, from storage to picnics. Good lists of herbs and spices and what they are used for. For anyone interested in food, this is well worth a... 更多
