Stunning interior. We loved it. A 2 km walk from the city center (walk along the klong grachang road to see the old houses). Entrance fee for tourists is 50 baht and there are explanations in English as well.
This palace is a must see. It's a 2km walk from the city center (jj guesthouse). Walk along klong gratchang road to see the old houses. The palace looks brand new from the outside and the interior is splendid. We loved it so much. Every room has a short exlanation in English as well. Entrance fee for foreigners is 50... 更多
We made our way to this Royal palace with no defined idea of what we might see. The architecture is mostly in the European style and quite modest by Thai standards. The ground floor has little to r commend it so the more able bodied in our party climbed to the first floor. The grand staircase is decorated with huge... 更多
The palace is really something different from other things you will see in Thailand. It has nice green area around, but the interior is not worth spending this 50 bath, really. Downstairs you will see only white walls and there are only two rooms interesting upstairs.
The palace itself is a beautiful place from the outside and is being secured by a few armed guards. It is a beautiful thing to see in petchaburi, but the inside is nearly empty and poorly maintained. Only a few interior attributes are shown inside the building.
One of the 3 famous palaces located in the province, this one represents the combined efforts of Rama V & Rama VI to create a lot European style palace. The design is interesting - German with Italian marble, impressive chandeliers & Chinese tile. And really pretty gardens. It is pretty deserted - lacking both furniture & people. It seems to... 更多
Not something you will see much of in Thailand. It is set in a beautiful garden, which you can easily spend an hour or two looking, around next to the river. Art Deco rooms and light fittings although no furniture. A lovely building worth a visit.
Loved this German influenced white elephant of a building. On an army base, security have to let you pass. Must dismount from bike! Ticket 50bht from booth by east side of palace. Near refreshment kiosk. We had the whole palace to ourselves for the whole time we were in it. Free to go everywhere, all rooms. No staff in the... 更多
