The pagoda is just next of Mae Hong Son lake. The view is amazing for day and night. You can also see the difference between Thailand and Mynamar pagoda style. One of the best thing is Mae Hong Son is changing the type of pagodas because of Shan people. You should definitely visit here because its central and easy access.... 更多
Visited here last year...interesting architecture. This year the stupas are under repair, hopefully to the former glory. Still takes a good photo.
There is a pond in front of the temple. I heard that this temple is the first temple of Mae Hong Son. We were lucky to see fog above the pond in the morning.
Highly recommended. There's a reason a night market runs 7-days a week in front of this Wat and around the lake at the foot of the Wat in Mae Hong Son. It's a gorgeous backdrop for the daily street food and other vendors to do business. And for the tourist, it's a lovely night walk around the lake for shopping... 更多
