The French Soldiers Monument tells two cool stories and throws in a great view of College Creek.
Most visitors to Annapolis don't even know the monument is there because it is tucked out of the way and isn't on the way to anywhere.
This out-of-the-way spot on the campus of St. John's College is worth a visit for fans of early 20th century sculpture or people interested in French-American relations. It's actually a lovely place to walk and located in a quiet grove. Few people know it's there.
